100th Day of School

We just celebrated our 100th day of 1st grade!  We love how excited our kiddos get when preparing for this day…and they should!  We have been working on getting 100 days smarter since the beginning of the year.  We had one 1st grader comment about how she “just couldn’t believe it has been 100 days,” and we couldn’t agree more.  Wow!  It is awesome to see how far they have come!  Our 1st graders are growing into little smarties and gaining independence day by day!  Hope you all have had great 100th days as well!  Here is a peek at some of our 100th day fun!

Our kiddos created posters/projects using 100 objects and bring them into share.  We do a walk around viewing, switching classrooms, to view each other’s projects.

We love this idea from Finally in First!!  This is the 2nd year we’ve had our kiddos turn themselves into 100 year olds.  We love to hear comments from our kiddos as they are working….they are priceless!  Tamra’s kiddos had the idea to crinkle their paper faces to give the “appearance of wrinkles” and that had a great effect!

Of course our 100th Day also included this free download from our TpT store.  These cards with 100 exercises came in handy to get out some extra wiggles on this special day.  Our kiddos enjoyed going through the cards several times! :)
