Mentor Text Linky 5.19.13

We're into our Living Organisms unit right now, so we have a fun animal book to share!  Life-Size Zoo is super fun and super captivating for our kiddos!  They love the BIG size of it and hearing the fun facts for each animal in the book.  Our kiddos also loved hearing the name and age of each animal!  In our rooms, this book was a great kickoff to beginning our animal research project.  Later we'll use our research to make habitat dioramas.  We'll share our completed animal reports and dioramas later this week!
Here is the recording sheet we're using for collecting our animal facts.

  3. I love this book. The pics are awesome. I really like the one of the rhino and being able to see its horn is not really a horn at all. Very cool!
    Fun printable too.
    Thanks!
