Five For Friday 6.21.13

It's Friday!  We hope you had a great week!

This week was our first full week of summer!  Each morning we started it off with a walk!  Sarah and I met our classroom TA (that we share between classrooms) at our school track to walk (and talk!).

Is there anything better than quiet work time with coffee on summer mornings?  It feels so nice to be working on TpT and blog type work at 9 in the morning as opposed to 9 at night (after a busy day!).

What have we been working on???  We completed our Beginning of the Year packet and listed it in our store this week!  It's called "O"fish"ally in First Grade."  It is packed...over 30 activities in Reading, Writing, and Math that will keep your kiddos busy the first week of school (and beyond). We tried to have a combination of whole group activities, small group activities, and independent work in the packet. We also included a few goodies for the teacher and classroom as well!  The whole 185 page packet is only $5!   Click below to head to our store!

Here's a sneak peek freebie we shared earlier with Molly over at Lucky to Be in First for Fabulous Freebies on the Fifteenth!

Each weekend this summer we will be putting one of our products on sale (50% off).  This weekend, Rainbow Math is the product.  You can read more about Rainbow Math here; we just blogged about it yesterday!  If you'd like to get your copy of Rainbow Math (ADDITION and SUBTRACTION) for $4, head on over to our store this weekend!.

Don't forget...time is ticking!
We would love for you to follow us on Bloglovin!

We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

    Two Friends In First

    1. Yes, it works out great! We plan most things together so our TA just makes 2 sets of everything. We get along with her really well so that makes us a great team. :)

  2. I have to admit, I'm so jealous of the TA. We have been begging for one for no avail. Looks like you're enjoying your summer & the units look great :)

    First Grade Fairytales

    1. In Kansas I never had a I don't know what I'd do without one!!! Good luck; maybe someday...

  3. I'm so with you - it's so much nicer to have some extra time to spend on non-school work! Although, since I usually get up super early, it's been awesome to stay up later & sleep in a bit now (even if it's only until 6!) Love that you get together & walk every morning! Have a fabulous weekend!

    Lucky to Be in First

    1. Isn't funny how getting up early isn't a problem in the summer??? I think because it's a choice and not a "have to!"

  4. Your unit looks awesome! Thanks for creating!
    Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Thanks, Debbie! We are excited to use it in August!

  5. Just discovered your blog and am now a follower! :)
