TpT Seller Challenge Week 3: Make Your Masterpiece
We've finally finished our "masterpiece" for this challenge, and for us, this was truly a masterpiece!  We've always had TONS of love for our Math Bags and after sharing the 1st grade version, we quickly made a K and 2nd grade version.  Most of our store is K-2nd, so we fluctuate easily between the primary grade levels.  Then we started get lots of requests for a 3rd grade version.  We always looked at each other with wide eyes, like how would we possible do it??  Could we even understand 3rd grade math without ever having taught it (this is why we teach 1st...easier math ;)??  So, when summer came around, we decided to sit down and try it out.  It took a while for us to get into the rhythm of working on these, but we got it done!  And we're really pleased with it!  We made the 3rd grade set a bit different...instead of grouping the activities into quarters or sets, we decided to just group the 3rd grade activities as a Complete Set, giving teachers the ability to choose activities as needed.  We sorted the set by strand, so teachers can see what activities there are for each strand.

Here is a peek at Math Bags in action:
All of the centers are manipulative.  Students will be sorting, matching, or writing to solve.
This shows some of the pieces in the 1st grade version.  You can see we've made these math centers in B&W for easy, inexpensive printing.  We use colored cardstock to print ours.
We give you a suggested way to get started with Math Bags: partnering students, rotating around the Math Bags.
