Simple Science: Making Snow

Making Snow Experiment
This experiment is perfect for winter! It's great to add into your winter lesson plans! This way to make 'snow' is easy and the kiddos can jump to get hands on! If you live in an area that gets lots of snow, you can have discussion on how the snow you make is similar and different from the snow kiddos find outside. If you don't live in an area that gets snow, this is a fun way for kiddos to experience some of the characteristics of snow! Visit this blog post to find more about the ingredients and measurements to make snow!

Materials ready! Grab miscellaneous items from your craft supply stash so kiddos can decorate the snow!
I cut the 'recipe' to make the snow in a zip bag. This was nice because it was easy to mix in the bag! This would be a great way for kiddos to handle the snow and mix it themselves!
Decorating materials ready! You can even put out dough tools! This is a fun set Tamra got my little guys! I borrowed it for the homemade snow! You can grab the tools here! (affiliate link)
It's fun to decorate the snow!
